ReadWriteWeb covered an interesting piece of news from O’Reilly’s showing that the fastest growing category in Apple’s App store was eBooks. Part of this may be explained by the ease at which these apps can be created — the average eBook vendor offers many more apps than vendors store wide. However, it also shows that people still read and that a device that allows people to easily and quickly access content from multiple sources is going to be the reading platform of the future for a large range of written content.
